Remove text from a picture — right in your browser

A date stamp on a photo, a greeting on a card you painted, a caption that no longer fits: with Unmakr you paint over the text and it disappears as you paint. The spot is filled from the picture around it, so the result keeps your colours and your style.

How to do it

  1. Upload your picture. Open Unmakr and drop your image on the page (JPG, PNG or WEBP). It stays on your computer.
  2. Choose Erase → Normal. Set the brush a little wider than the letters. Use Strong for text on a busy background.
  3. Paint over the text. Work in short strokes, letter by letter on detailed areas. The text disappears while you paint.
  4. Blend and export. Use the Blend sliders (Edge, Colour, Texture) to melt the repaired area in, then Export.

Why the result looks natural

Unmakr fills each stroke from one continuous area of your picture instead of stamping many small circles, so there are no repeated round marks. If a spot looks a little hazy, raise Dehaze / Clarity to 20–40 with a touch of Sharpen.

Write something new

Once the old text is gone, type your own words in Custom Branding Stamp — perfect for re-using a card you painted for a new occasion.

Only for your own pictures

Unmakr is made for artists and photographers working on their own images. Removing someone else’s watermark or signature is not allowed.
